Say hello to Tim and Jan - the folks behind @Open Kettle Farms , where Wisconsin trees, tradition, and firewood come together to create pure maple magic.

Each spring, this hardworking crew taps local maple trees and gathers sap by gravity with care. Then, using steam in large kettle batches, they boil it down slowly to bring out deep, rich flavor in every golden drop.

The result? Smooth, pure maple syrup with taste that reflects the land it came from and the hands that made it. Whether you’re drizzling it over pancakes, glazing veggies, or stirring it into your morning coffee, this syrup brings a little warmth to everything it touches.

Find Open Kettle Maple Syrup at the Mount Horeb Farmers Market each week—bottled with pride and ready for your table.

Thank you to this incredible couple for keeping the tradition alive and sharing the sweetness with our community!

Rooted in care. Grown with purpose. Shared with joy.

Say hello to the team behind Wonka’s Harvest, small-scale vegetable farm in the Driftless hills, where farming isn’t just about food—it’s about justice, restoration, and community.

What started as a vision for land stewardship and food equity has grown into a vibrant no-till farm full of life, color, and connection. At Wonka’s Harvest, everything is grown with intention: vegetables, mushrooms, herbs, flowers, honey, and more—all nurtured without tractors, using regenerative, low-impact methods that put the health of the soil first.

But it’s not just about how they grow—it’s about why. Patty believes that everyone deserves access to fresh, nourishing food, which is why they’ve built a pay-what-you-can CSA model and actively work to make local produce more equitable and inclusive.

You’ll find Wonka’s Harvest each week at the Mount Horeb Farmers Market, offering not just seasonal vegetables, but a deeper sense of connection to the land, the people who tend it, and the future they’re helping shape.

Thank you, Wonka’s Harvest, for growing with integrity, sharing with compassion, and feeding our community with heart.
